Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Review
Sitting at the peak of the Aston Martin production range is the absolutely gorgeous Aston Martin DBS Superleggera (meaning super-light). This car embodies the whole essence of what an Aston Martin is supposed to be; powerful and breathtaking. It is art in motion. It is true to the phrase ‘beautiful is absolute.’ Find out just how absolutely beautiful the car is in our Aston Martin DBS Superleggera review.
The DBS Superleggera is the best Aston Martin at the moment. It comes with a 5.2-liter V12 engine that produces a staggering 715bhp. It’s super-fast and accelerates to 62mph in 3.4 seconds; with a top speed of 211 mph.
This car may look similar to the DB11 but it’s faster, lighter and more aggressive; and unlike the all-aluminum DB11, the DBS has a lot of carbon fiber adorning its body. This has made it about 160 pounds lighter.
All these qualities do not come cheap and you should not expect it to be. You will have to part with at least $300,000 to take this goddess home. Also worth noting is that one can customize their own Aston Martin DBS Superleggera on Aston Martin’s website where depending on the options the price may vary.
From the leather upholstered seats and the carbon fiber touch on the dashboard, the interior of our baby is truly mouth-watering. The seats are configured for high performance and ultimate comfort. You instantly feel at home inside the vehicle. There is a whole array of additional accessories and finishing touches available like for instance: personalized sill plaques, embossed Aston Martin logos on the headrest, carbon fiber steering wheel, glass switch kits etc.
The driving experience of the DBS is orgasmic. It moves effortlessly and accelerates aggressively. Its carbon-ceramic brakes are effective and easy to regulate. You do not need to be a professional driver to get the best from this car. It is powerful and light; it is definitely built for speed.
Besides the cramped back seats, we cannot find any other bad thing to say about the DBS. If anything the rear backspace should be used as additional luggage space. You do not have to take our word for it. Check out this video with a comprehensive 20-minute Aston Martin DBS Superleggera review.
The DBS is super-light and super-fast, it is aggressive yet graceful. It is very well put together. It is distinctively Aston Martin. What do you think of our Aston Martin DBS Superleggera review? If you enjoyed it check out our Range Rover Velar review as well.
